On Christmas afternoon, as I cooked up my big feast for my family, my parents had something even bigger cooked up for my daughter. They called me into the family room where my family sat around my daughter and a beautifully wrapped box.
As soon as I entered the room, they told her she could open the box. She slowly lifted the lid of the box open and out floated a Mickey Mouse balloon. Attached to it was a small pink Disney MagicBand. Under a layer of gift tissue was my mom’s iPad. My parents instructed my little one to push play on a video that was queued up.
On the screen popped up my parents sitting at their kitchen table. As the video began to play, my parents excitedly revealed to my daughter that they would be taking her to Disney World in 2 short weeks.
Fast forward. The day has arrived. Today my parents are taking my daughter and me to The Happiest Place on Earth! As you may recall from a previous post, we are a Disney family!
And I can’t wait to go home to Neverland! Time to make more magical memories!
