It’s 3pm at the local playground. The day already feels like it’s lasted 20 hours. The kiddo is on official nap strike. Through your hangover from the day’s toddler whine, all you want is a grande hot toasted graham latte. Should you brave the Starbucks line consisting of a mix of coffee break execs, newly released from school tweens and other tired moms? You look at your clearly overtired child as visions of the pick me up begin to fade. Then, alas! YOU ARE SAVED!
Enter Starbucks wonderfully brilliant “No Time, No Line”. As you watch your little one go down the slide for the 100th time, you pull out the phone and launch your Starbuks app. At the top right corner, you hit the order tab. Punch in your drink of choice (along with so many other options and add-ins you may have not even realized available!). Pay right on the app and you’re done! After 3-8 minutes more of play for your little one and a nice stroll down to Starbucks, you bypass the line and tell the barista your name. No waiting and drink in hand!
Not only has this genius procedure become my standard ordering routine, I am sure the other people who may have been standing in line with me and my whining child are grateful of our absence. This mom gives Starbucks a huge stamp of approval for this added convenience!
Starbucks red cups are back as of yesterday, so now is a perfect time to give this new ordering system a try!
Have you tried it? What do you think?
